Art Call for OR Handmade Bicycle Show Poster

The Oregon Bicycle Constructors Association is pleased to announce an open “Art Call.”  Below you will see the prize, technical requirements, and show “themes” to consider if submitting your design to the O.B.C.A.   Ultimately, only 1 skilled artist and their artwork will be selected for use by the 2012 Oregon Handmade Bicycle Show.  Good Luck!

Next Steps:
To be considered as the show artist for the 2012 Oregon Handmade Bicycle Show, please submit the form below. All submissions must be completed by June 8, 2012.

If selected as the 2012 OHBS artist, you will receive:
1. $500 for use of the art.
2. Credit for the artwork on the Show Poster, Website, and Media Ad’s. (Ex. XYZ creative/design credited on the artwork)
3. Free Admission to the 2012 OHBS for you and 1 guest
4. 2012 OHBS T-shirt.

Technical Requirements for Artwork:
–11 x 17 Poster
–300 DPI
–Language to include: “Oregon Handmade Bicycle Show”, “Presented by the Oregon Bicycle Constructors Association”, “October 2012.”
–File Type: Pdf (eventually will need all native files)

Suggested theme for the OHBS Show Art:
–Handmade Bicycles
–Frame Builders
–Portland, Oregon
–Swan Island and Shipyard
–Swan Island and Women Welders during WWII
–Consideration of season & October 2012 Show Dates

Timeline and Deadline for Submission:
Please complete the form and art submission by June 8, 2012.
No late submissions will be accepted. If selected, you will hear from the O.B.C.A. by June 15, 2012.  Any ?’s, contact show@oregonframebuilders.org
